Every RSVP, straight to WhatsApp.
Send Event Tickets RSVPs and ticket sales straight to your WhatsApp — never miss an attendee. The plugin connects Event Tickets to The Tech Pad's WhatsApp Business API platform — official Meta infrastructure, no code required.
Live in ten minutes.
| 1 | Download the plugin — grab the zip below, or from the app once the plugin is live there. |
| 2 | Upload to WordPress — Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → choose the zip → Install → Activate. |
| 3 | Make sure Event Tickets is installed and active — install it from Event Tickets if you haven't yet. |
| 4 | Open Settings → Tech Pad WhatsApp — the plugin adds its own settings page. |
| 5 | Get your API key and phone number ID — in The Tech Pad app, open Developer settings → Create API key. Copy the key and your WhatsApp number's ID (Numbers → your number). |
| 6 | Paste them into the plugin — API key + phone number ID, then set your default recipient (your WhatsApp number), an approved template and its language. Save. |
| 7 | Send a test message — the button sits on the settings page; check your WhatsApp within seconds. |
| 8 | Enable the ticketed events you want notified — the settings page lists your ticketed events with per-event toggles, recipient and template overrides. |
| 9 | Optional: field mapping + attendee confirmations — map attendee fields to template variables in order, and confirm attendees who give a phone number and opt in. |
| 10 | Done. Every RSVP and ticket sale pings your WhatsApp. Replies come back into your Tech Pad inbox — campaigns, team inbox and automations included. |
Built for real businesses.
| Instant RSVP & ticket alerts | Every RSVP and ticket sale sends a WhatsApp message to you (or any number you choose) — attendee, ticket, event and quantity. |
| Per-event control | Enable notifications per ticketed event, with per-event recipient and template overrides. |
| Field mapping | Map attendee fields (name, email, ticket, quantity, event, date) to your template variables in {{1}}, {{2}}… order. |
| Attendee confirmations (opt-in) | When the attendee gives a phone number and opts in, a confirmation goes to them too — Meta-compliant. |
| Test send + delivery log | Verify delivery from the settings page. Every send is logged with status and errors; failed sends retry automatically. |
| Official Meta API | Uses the WhatsApp Business API via The Tech Pad — no unofficial libraries, no click-to-chat links. |
Before you install.
Do I need a The Tech Pad account?
Yes. The plugin sends through The Tech Pad's WhatsApp Business API platform. Create a free workspace at thetechpad.com — your first 1,000 conversations a month are free on WhatsApp's standard pricing.
Do I need an approved WhatsApp template?
Yes — WhatsApp template messages are required for the first contact with a number. Create your template in The Tech Pad Template hub and wait for Meta approval (usually a few hours). The plugin sends every notification as a template message.
What happens if a message fails to send?
The plugin's delivery log records every attempt with the error. Failed sends retry automatically up to three times, and a Retry button is available on the settings page.
Does this slow down my website?
No. Notifications are queued and sent in the background via WordPress cron — the visitor's RSVP completes instantly.
